The Cowshed (Games Room)

For those English rainy days our 'Cowshed' provides itself as a superb Games room with Table Tennis, Darts, Scalextric, retro Pinball and Bar Billiards. We have just added a relaxation corner with leather sofa, smart TV, Wii and a selection of board games with a large wood burner and supply of logs to keep you nice and toasty. A newly added kitchenette and WC has also transformed this space, great for chilling with a movie or having a fun games night!

The Swimming Pool

Heated outdoor swimming pool is operational from the end of May to early September. We like to keep it at a very pleasant 82 degrees. There are sun loungers and chairs kept in the pool house and we ask guests to bring their own swimming towels. Please check the time slots available or you are welcome to organise a fair agreement with the other guests.

The Tennis Court

Great for a game of recreational tennis, popular in the summer months especially around Wimbledon! If you forget your own racquets and tennis balls please ask to borrow some.

Woodland Walk & Wildlife Hide

Around the perimeter of the field we have mown a track which winds through the trees taking you up to the wildlife hide and the old oast ponds. There are cherry trees, hazelnut, walnut and apple trees and you are welcome to pick your own. The wildlife hide overlooks the pond and an active badger sett which if you sit quietly as dusk falls you are usually able to spot some of our resident badgers of Brockamin.

Outdoor Play Area

The spacious paddock has a goalies net available on request. Plenty of space to explore and enjoy local wildlife

Foraging

We have a number of fruit trees, herbs, horseradish, blackberries, damsons. Ask Louise where and when is the best place to pick your own.

Mobile Spa

Enrich your stay effortlessly with a relaxing holistic treatment brought to you from Pure Thyme Holistic Therapies. Neals Yard Organic products are used in many of the treatments.

The Animals

We have hens, ducks, dogs, cats and horses. We can organise an experience feeding our free range chickens and collecting eggs on request.

The Hot Tubs

There are private hot tubs for exclusive use of guests staying in either The Barn, The Cabin or Shepherd's Hut
